Silva Winery Emilia Liastos Organic Red Wine (PDO) 500ml

Single varietal wine from Liatiko.

To make this special wine, the grapes had to stay under the sun for 6-8 days, thus giving them the aroma and sweetness they need.

The special vinification method and the 6-year aging of the wine in American and French barrels give it a full flavor with characteristic aromas of raisins and vanilla followed by aromas of caramel and chocolate.

As an aperitif or at the end of the meal, it accompanies sweets with dark chocolate and hazelnut, fruit tarts, ice cream and nuts.

Served at 8-10°C.

• Altitude: 350-450 meters
• Winemaking: Harvesting grapes from privately owned biodynamic vineyards. Grapes stay for 6-8 days in the shade. Long-term fermentation with indigenous yeasts at a controlled temperature for 6 months in oak barrels. It is then aged in French oak barrels for more than 8 years.
