Premium organic virgin olive oil from Corfu. OLITHEA olive oil is an excellent organic olive oil, early harvest, high in polyphenols, low acidity (0.3%) and produced from healthy, selected olive fruits from the Lianolia variety of Corfu.
“Lianolia”, our unique olive variety, is a centuries-old native to our island with truly unique characteristics. We treat our trees with the principles of organic cultivation applied at all stages, “from the olive grove to every bottle” bearing the Olithea brand.
We follow the strict principles of organic cultivation in all olive groves, under the supervision of agronomists specialized in the field and under the supervision of the inspection and certification organization “DIO.”
Our variety, the cultivation methods and control in all phases, throughout the year, have given us the privilege to exceed more than 3 times the EU limits of beneficial polyphenols (oleasin and oleokanthal) in our extra virgin olive oil.
We proudly carry the official HEALTH CLAIM (EU 432/2012) on every bottle of “Olithea”, informing the consumer that 20 grams of our olive oil daily, “contributes to the protection of blood lipids from oxidative stress”. This is certified annually by the Department of Pharmacy, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece.
